- LCU closes the home portion of its 2026 schedule Tuesday against West Texas A&M in its annual Pink Out match and the latest installment of the Rivalry on the Range series. The Lady Chaparrals enter the home finale 10-11 overall and 6-5 in Lone Star Conference play after consecutive sweeps of Texas A&M International and Texas A&M-Kingsville. Following Tuesday, LCU will play its final five regular-season matches on the road, beginning Friday at Texas Woman's and Saturday at Dallas Baptist.
- The Lady Chaps have changed the complexion of their homestand with back-to-back sweeps. After opening the five-match stretch with losses to UT Tyler and UT Dallas, LCU defeated Texas A&M International 25-22, 25-12, 25-14 and then swept Texas A&M-Kingsville 25-23, 25-20, 25-18. LCU enters Tuesday on its first two-match winning streak since defeating St. Mary's and St. Edward's on Sept. 25-26.
- Saturday's Senior Day victory came against a Texas A&M-Kingsville squad that entered the weekend near the top of the LSC standings. LCU held the Javelinas to a .104 attack percentage while hitting .284 and amassed 12 total blocks. The sweep was only the second 3-0 loss suffered by TAMUK this season and improved LCU to 8-6 in the all-time series, including 4-1 in Lubbock.
- LCU has increasingly separated itself statistically in conference play. Through 11 LSC matches, the Lady Chaps are hitting .222 while holding opponents to .191 and have committed 43 fewer attack errors than their conference opponents, 162-205. LCU averages 12.72 kills, 11.36 assists, 15.67 digs, 1.86 aces and 1.92 blocks per set in league play while owning advantages of 67-44 in service aces and 69-67 in total blocks.

-
Camdyn Sears followed Friday's historic triple-double with another standout performance Saturday. One day after recording 15 digs, 13 assists and a career-high 11 kills for LCU's first triple-double since 1990, Sears produced 10 kills and 16 assists against Texas A&M-Kingsville for her 11th double-double of the season and 34th of her LCU career. Sears' triple-double is one of only five recorded nationally this season, and she is one of two LSC players with one.
- LCU's move to a 5-2 offense has created additional attacking opportunities for Sears while giving freshman
Lauren Hanson a larger setting role. Hanson followed a then-career-high 14 assists against Texas A&M International with a new career-high 20 against Texas A&M-Kingsville. Sears has 560 assists and averages 8.24 per set, ranking fifth in the LSC, while she is hitting .315 overall and .388 in conference play.
