LCU Track Set for National Championship Competition

Both 4X400 Teams Qualified for D-II Meet

LUBBOCK, Texas (March 12, 2026) – Lubbock Christian University will have three individuals and two relay teams at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia this weekend.
 
All three individuals are on the men's team, including Reuel Campbell and Chris Moffett in the 400 and Maurice Gray in the long jump.
 
Campbell has the 14th-fastest 400-meter time in Division II so far this season, running a 46.78 at the Jarvis Scott Invite a month ago. At the LSC Championships, he placed sixth with a time of 47.37.
 
Moffett is also competing in the 400, after setting a PR in the event at the Jarvis Scott Invite with a time of 46.97. He finished one place ahead of Campbell at the LSC Championships.
 
Both athletes will also be competing on the men's 4X400 relay team, along with Daniel Sianez and Aden Soto. LCU's relay team has been excellent this season and recorded their best mark of 3:08.13 at the Jarvis Scott Invite. It set a new school record and is the fourth-fastest time in Division II history.
 
The Lady Chap 4X400 team also qualified for the national championship meet, featuring Jozlyn Arana, Joy Egwu, Elizabeth Florez and Kerrigan Huynh. The foursome have run the fifth-fastest time in Division II this season, placing third at the LSC Track & Field Championships and setting a new school record with a time of 3:39.36.
 
LCU's only field athlete at the meet is Gray, who is competing in the long jump. The junior was Lubbock Christian's highest finisher at the conference championship, placing second in his event. He set a new program record with a leap of 14.39m.
