Maurice Gray will compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on Thursday at Francis G. Welch Stadium.

Â
In his most recent competition, Gray just missed a long jump medal at the Lone Star Conference Championships, taking fourth with a leap of 7.35 meters. He did medal in the triple jump, where his new personal best of 14.94 meters was just short of getting him a spot in the national meet.
