LADY CHAPS FLIGHT DECK
•  The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaparrals face Newman for their final regular season game of the 2016 schedule.
•  LCU enters the game 8-3-5 overall and 6-3-4 in conference play. The Lady Chaps enter the game tied with St. Mary's for third place in the conference standings and each have clinched a spot in the Heartland Conference Tournament. The Lady Chaps are unbeaten in their prior five road games (2-0-3).
•  LCU, who went 1-6-1 on the road last season (four road goals), is 3-2-3 on the road this season. LCU is 19-21-4 all-time on the road under head coach Alex Denning. Overall all-time, LCU is 29-31-6 on the road.
 
STORY LINES
•   The Lady Chaps are 23-9-4 all-time in Heartland Conference games and 10-6-2 all-time in Heartland Conference road games.
•   LCU enters the game tied with St. Mary's in the conference standings.  St. Mary's plays regular season champion St. Edward's Saturday.  If LCU and St. Mary's each have the same outcome Saturday, then St. Mary's will clinch the third seed ahead of LCU. LCU and StMU tied 1-1 twice during the regular season, but StMU has the head-to-head tiebreaker.  Finishing third pits them against No.2-seed Dallas Baptist and the fourth seeded team will play the top seed St. Edward's.
•   Haley Knesek ranks 29^th nationally in points per game with a mark of 1.69 (leads the conference). Her conference leading 27 points ranks 35^th nationally and seven assists ranks 37^th nationally.
•   The Lady Chaps have 33 assists as a team this season, which ranks 15^th in the nation in total assists. They average 2.1 per game, which ranks 15^th nationally.  
•   LCU's 6.3 points per game ranks 25^th nationally and second in the conference. Their 34 goals ranks 42^nd nationally. LCU has scoring success, but they have not scored more than one goal in their last four games.
•   The Lady Chaps have out-shot their opponents 201-50 in the first half this season and 15-2 in the second overtime period this season.
 
SCOUTING NU
•   The Jets are coming off a 6-8-2 season in 2015, going 3-4-1 in conference play and 4-4-0 on the road. NU enters Saturday winners of their last two games, including a 3-0 Thursday win over Oklahoma Christian, which places them 6-6-5 on the season and 5-5-3 in conference. They are 4-4-1 at home this season.
•   The Heartland Conference preseason poll has NU picked to finish fifth in the conference, which is their current sitting in the standings.
•   The Jets have a team save percentage of .877, which ranks 21^st nationally and leads the conference.
•   Morgan Foster has four game winning goals to lead the conference.
•   Rosa Urista-Chico leads the team in shots on goal (35), but only has one goal on the season. Foster leads the team with seven goals.
 
SERIES HISTORY WITH NU
• LCU leads the all-time series 4-0-0.
• Last season (Oct. 15, 2015), the two teams met in Wichita, Kan., with Jamie Boone coming off the bench to score the game's lone goal in a 1-0 LCU road win.
• In the prior meeting this season (Sept. 29), LCU won 1-0 with a goal from Claudia Sanchez.
• The Lady Chaps have out-scored NU 7-0 all-time and the series shutout sequence is at 360 minutes.
