LOOKING AT ASU
- LCU and Angelo State are meeting for the 32
nd time all-time. ASU won the regular season meeting last season (3-0 on Oct. 6, 2022) to place the all-time series record to 22-9 against LCU. Despite the ASU series advantage (they had a nine-match win streak from 1980 to 1986 and swept all four games last season), LCU has won seven of the past 14 meetings (ASU has won the prior five meetings). Sixteen (16) meetings have been played in San Angelo, where LCU is 5-11 (LCU has won five of the last nine in San Angelo).
- ASU, who went 24-5 last season (going 16-1 in LSC play), had their season end in the NCAA Division II South Central Regionals. This season, the Belles enter the contest 3-8 on the season and seeking to end a seven-match losing streak. They are preseason picked second in the LSC this season.
- Caleigh Enax leads ASU with 156 digs, which ranks ninth in the LSC. She averages 4.1 per set.
- Hannah Kinnison, a University of San Francisco transfer, leads the Belles with 93 kills on the season. She posted 21 kills and18 digs against No. 11 Central Missouri, but has combined for 13 kills in two combined matches since.
- All three wins for ASU this season have been at home, where the Belles are 3-3 on the season. Saturday's contest is the first of two meetings in San Angelo this season for the two programs, as LCU will make a return trip to ASU October 7 for a LSC matchup.
LADY CHAP NOTES
- LCU is 4-6 on the season and seeking to end a two-match losing streak. They are coming off a 3-0 loss in San Angelo Friday to No.13 West Texas A&M. LCU seeks their first road win of the season (0-1).
- Lubbock Christian is 4-0 when winning the opening set of matches this season and they are 0-6 when losing the opening set of matches this season. The same statistic applies to the third set of matches.

Kiana Fallaha has 38 kills over the prior three matches and heads into Saturday's match as the Lady Chaps team leader in kills (90).
Lily Bickley leads LCU in kills per set (2.9) and Chain Sage is their leader in points per set (3.28)

Kayton Genenbacher completed her fourth career double-double (third of the season) Friday with 34 assists and 11 digs. On the season, she is averaging 10.4 assists per set (second in the LSC and 19
th nationally), .36 aces per set and 2.17 digs per set. The sophomore is second in the LSC in total assists (375), which is 21
st nationally.

Kendall Mahaney had 21 digs Friday against WT to reach 20 or more digs for a fifth time this season and she matched a career high with a third consecutive match with at least 20 digs. Mahaney leads the team with 178 digs (fourth in the LSC and 45
th nationally) and is at a pace of 4.94 per set (fifth in the LSC and 50
th nationally).
- LCU's top team category entering the weekend is ranking 53
rd in blocks per set (2.14) and 60
th nationally in total blocks with a 77.0.
Sage Chain leads LCU ranking third in the LSC with a pace of 1.25 blocks per set (45 total on the season, ranking third in the LSC).
