LOOKING AT UTPB
- The Lady Chaps and Falcons first squared off in 1995 and have met 51 times since, with LCU owning a 41-10 series advantage over the Falcons. LCU had won 15 consecutive matches prior to 2019, but UTPB has won six of the last nine meetings. LCU is 17-6 all-time in Lubbock in the series, which includes a 3-2 UTPB win on Sept.14 in the LSC Crossover. The two programs were former Heartland Conference foes and LCU was 6-0 all-time in Heartland action against the Falcons.
- UTPB was preseason picked 13th in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll. They went 11-16 overall last season, going 6-10 in conference, which resulted in a four-way tie of 11
th place in the conference.
- UT Permian Basin is 13-5 on the season. They are 4-3 in LSC play (tied for ninth) after a 3-2 victory at Eastern New Mexico Friday. They enter Saturday with a 3-2 travel record as well.
- The Falcons have held their opponents to a .156 attack percentage, which ranks sixth in the LSC and ranks 57
th nationally. They have held six opponents to under a .100 attack percentage, including twice out of their prior four matches.

- LCU was one of 13 unbeaten teams this season before falling 3-2 Sept.14 to UT Permian Basin. The season start was their best since opening 2010 with an 8-0 record. The loss also ended an eight-match win streak if you include their season-ending win last season (their longest under head coach
Keith Giboney and the longest streak since a 12-match win streak in 2018). The Lady Chaps went into conference play with an 8-2 record on the season and their pre-conference record was their best 10-match start to their season since opening the first 10 matches of the 2014 season with a 9-1 record. They are 4-5 in LSC play (12
th in the standings) and have won four of their last six matches. They enter the contest 12-7 overall (they have already surpassed last season's 11-win season win total) following a 3-1 loss Friday to Angelo State.
- All of LCU's seven losses this season have been against Lone Star Conference members and those teams have combined for an 80-29 record (80.7% win percentage) so far this season.

Kayton Genenbacher was named LSC Setter of the Week for her performances over LCU's matches last week. Genenbacher helped LCU to a 3-0 week with a trio of road wins, including a pair of come-from-behind five-set wins (at Midwestern State and St. Edward's, as she posted 139 assists at a pace of 9.93 assists per set. She posted double-double performance at MSU (54a,14d) and at SEU (39a,16d). The double-double at SEU (her ninth of the season and 20th of her career) also included a career-high five aces in the win. The five aces are tied for the second-most aces in a five-set match by a Lady Chaps member since 2008. The junior from Lubbock closed out the week with 46 assists (11.5 per set) against St. Mary's.
The honor marked the second time an LCU setter has been recognized with a Setter of the Week honor by the LSC (all-time) and each have come this season for Genenbacher, who is one of two setters in the LSC to receive multiple weekly honors (from the LSC). The honor marks the third time this season a Lady Chaps member has claimed a LSC weekly honor. Outside of Genenbacher's honor,

- Genenbacher has 10 double-doubles this season (21 in career) and enters Saturday leading the LSC in assists (713, 23
rd nationally), third in assists per set (9.5, 54
th nationally) and second in aces with 32. Her assists are fueling a Lady Chaps offense that rank eighth in the LSC in kills per set (12.6) and is hitting .199 on the season. Genenbacher surpassed 1,500 career assists on Sept. 23 (at Oklahoma Christian) and has 713 on the season on the season.

Kiana Fallaha ranks fifth in the LSC in kills per set (3.5) and fourth in kills (260). She is fifth in the LSC in points per set with 3.8. Fallaha is third in the LSC (25
th nationally) with a pace of 10.9 attacks per set and has produced over 40 attacks in 12 matches this season. At St. Edward's she notched her ninth double-double of the season (and of her career) and she has double-double performances in five of her last 10 matches.
- LCU ranks ninth in the LSC (64
th nationally) in digs per set (16.4), but it has been a balanced effort, as the Lady Chaps do not have any representation in the top-15 in conference leaders in digs.
Chloe Menard is LCU's leader with 3.57 digs per set, as she has 268 total digs on the season. Four Lady Chaps (Menard, Genenbacher,
Olivia Elofsson and Fallaha) have at least 2.6 digs per set.
