LOOKING AT CAMERON
- LCU and the Aggies have met seven prior times, with LCU holding a 4-3 edge in the series. The first five meetings of the all-time series were at neutral sites, with the previous two meetings played in Lawton, Okla. (including a 3-0 LCU win Oct. 22, 2022). The prior two meetings (both won by LCU) were LSC meetings and the first two overall meetings since 2009. The two teams have never met in Lubbock.

- Cameron was preseason picked last in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll. The Aggies were coming off a dismal 5-26 season from a season ago, which included an 0-16 stretch of conference play. All five of their wins were neutral site wins.

- CU is 5-19 this season and they have a 2-8 record in the LSC. They open the week at Eastern New Mexico Friday in Portales, N.M. before facing LCU Saturday. They head to ENMU seeking to snap a 38-game road losing streak, which actively leads NCAA Division II.

- Cameron ranks fourthin the LSC in total attacks with 3,225, which is 46th nationally. Jacee Stelter is the team leader with 657 (11th in the LSC) at a pace of 7.92 per set (15th in the LSC).

- Meagan Jimenez is third in the LSC with 35 serving aces and in digs with 423. On average per set, she ranks third in the LSC in digs per set (5.04) and third in aces per set (0.42).

LADY CHAP NOTES
- LCU was one of 13 unbeaten teams this season before falling 3-2 Sept.14 to UT Permian Basin. The season start was their best since opening 2010 with an 8-0 record. The loss also ended an eight-match win streak if you include their season-ending win last season (their longest under head coach Keith Giboney and the longest streak since a 12-match win streak in 2018).  The Lady Chaps went into conference play with an 8-2 record on the season and their pre-conference record was their best 10-match start to their season since opening the first 10 matches of the 2014 season with a 9-1 record. They are 6-7 in LSC play (10th in the standings) and have won six of their last 10 matches. They enter the contest 14-9 overall (they have already surpassed last season's 11-win season win total) following a 3-0 loss Wednesday at West Texas A&M.

- Kalli Dalland had a match-high and career-high 10 blocks in Oct. 14's win over UT Permian Basin. The mark was the highest total in the rally scoring era by a Lady Chaps member at home and matches as the highest single-match total since 2008 by a Lady Chap (Dalland is the third Lady Chaps member to complete the task). The 10 blocks were the most by a Lady Chaps member since Christiana Tavo had 10 in Wichita, Kan. against Tarleton State on Sept. 24, 2015. Dalland had nine block-assists to match the most by a Lady Chap this season, as Lily Bickley had nine against UT Tyler Sept. 30 at home (the last time that had been completed prior to the two this season was Sept. 16, 2017). Dalland leads the LSC and is sixth nationally in total blocks (101) and is third with a pace of 1.2 per set (21st nationally).

- Genenbacher has 12 double-doubles this season (23 in career) and enters Saturday leading the LSC in assists (875, 20th nationally) and in aces (36) while ranking third in assists per set (9.83, 42nd nationally). Her assists are fueling a Lady Chaps offense that rank eighth in the LSC in kills per set (12.8) and is hitting .203 on the season (seventh in the LSC). Genenbacher surpassed 1,500 career assists on Sept. 23 (at Oklahoma Christian) and has 875 on the season on the season and has 1,961 in her career.

- Kiana Fallaha ranks fifth in the LSC in kills per set (3.4) and fourth in kills (306). She is sixth in the LSC in points per set with 3.8. Fallaha is fourth in the LSC (32nd nationally) with a pace of 10.7 attacks per set and has produced over 40 attacks in 13 matches this season. Against TAMIU (last Saturday), she notched her 11th double-double of the season (and of her career) and she has double-double performances in seven of her last 14 matches.

- LCU ranks 11th in the LSC (79th nationally) in digs per set (16.2), and it has been a balanced effort, as the Lady Chaps do not have any representation in the top-15 in conference leaders in digs. Chloe Menard is LCU's leader with 3.36 digs per set, as she has 299 total digs on the season. Four Lady Chaps (Menard, Genenbacher, Olivia Elofsson and Fallaha) have at least 2.6 digs per set.

- The Lady Chaparrals have a 6-6 record in home matches this season and coming off a 3-1 win at home (Saturday) over TAMIU. Kiana Fallaha is averaging 3.5 kills and Kayton Genenbacher is on a pace of 9.7 assists per set at home. Kayton Genenbacher leads the team in digs per set (3.1) at home, but teammates Menard (3.0) and Fallaha (2.9) are also averaging at least 2.9 digs per set. Olivia Elofsson and Genenbacher have combined for 31 (Genenbacher leads with 17) of LCU's 61 serving aces at home (the next closest player is Chloe Menard, who has 8).

- Kiana Fallaha (3.1) and Lily Bickley (2.7) are leading LCU in LSC play in kills per set. Fallaha, ranking 12th with 3.4 points per set, and Bickley, ranking 26th with 3.0 points per set, have LCU with two players in the top-30 in conference in points per set. Chloe Menard leads LCU with 3.0 digs per set and ranks tied for 14th in the LSC with 12 aces. Kayton Genenbacher, leading the conference in LSC play with 504 assists and third in assists per set (9.9), leads LCU and leads the conference in LSC play in aces with 19 (also ranks 10th with 0.37 per set). Lily Bickley leads LCU in LSC play in hitting percentage at .302 (17th in LSC). Mix in Lacie Schooley ranking 20th in hitting percentage (.288) and Kalli Dalland ranking 30th (.245), it has LCU with three players in the top-30 in the conference for hitting (in LSC matches).
