LUBBOCK, Texas (November 7, 2025) – Lubbock Christian rolled to a straight-sets victory at the Rip Griffin Center on Friday night, sweeping UT Permian Basin 3-0 (25–14, 25–22, 25–18) to extend the Lady Chaps' roll at home. The win improved LCU to 22–5 overall and 14–1 in Lone Star Conference play, while the Falcons dropped to 9–15, 7–7 LSC.
LCU's balanced attack was led by
Lily Bickley, who posted 14 kills and hit .382, marking another efficient night in the front court. Freshman
Camdyn Sears paced the offense with a team-leading 32 assists while the defense produced 65 team digs and strong serving —
Ramsey Clark matched a career high with three service aces.
Payton Murray added eight kills and tied a career high with seven digs, and
Bryleigh Schweer and
Jade Workman provided timely contributions off the pin.
The Lady Chaps closed the match with 44 kills on 142 attempts and limited UTPB to a .095 attack rate for the match.
UT Permian Basin was led offensively by Lauren Demuth and Ashlee Macias (each had eight kills) and got a team defensive effort that kept several rallies competitive in the middle two frames, but the Falcons weren't able to sustain momentum long enough to take a set.

Camdyn Sears. The trio of kills was part of an 8-0 LCU run capped by a serving ace from
Kyla Farnan. The home team capitalized on the Falcons' attack errors, extending their advantage to 19-6. Despite a brief rally by UTPB, the Chaps maintained control, with Bickley securing the final point for a 25-14 first set victory. Bickley finished the set with six kills.

UTPB initially took control in the second set, jumping to a 3-0 lead. The Lady Chaps responded with a series of scoring plays, including a service ace by
Ramsey Clark at 4-3, and a kill by Bickley that tied the score at 4-4. The Chaparrals then surged ahead with a decisive 6-0 run to establish a 7-4 lead. The set was tied 17-17 before LCU went on a 5-1 run for a 22-18 lead.
Bryleigh Schweer's kill and a service error from UTPB secured the 25-22 set victory. Sears and Bickley each had four kills in the set for LCU.

Lauren Demuth contributed two early kills for the Falcons, but Lubbock Christian responded with consistent offensive plays, highlighted by
Jade Workman's kill and two consecutive kills from Bickley. The Lady Chaps capitalized on UTPB's errors, building momentum with service aces that extended their lead to 18-12. Murray added valuable points with a series of kills, and despite a brief push from the Falcons, the Chaps maintained control. The set concluded at 25-18 in favor of Lubbock Christian, with the final point coming from an attack error by Demuth. Murray and Bickley each had four kills in the frame to co-lead LCU.
