LADY CHAP HEADERS
- Lubbock Christian University returns home on Saturday, taking on Eastern New Mexico at 1 p.m. at the LCU Soccer & Track Complex and trying for their second-straight win
- With a 3-1-3 league record, the Lady Chaps have 12 points, putting them in sole possession of fifth place in the Lone Star Conference Standings
- LCU senior Emma Wright has 50 saves so far this season, which ranks fifth among LSC goalkeepers, and her save percentage ranks fifth at .833
- Sophomore forward Samantha Simpson scored her first goal of her collegiate career on Wednesday, becoming the 10th different Lady Chap to find the back of the net this season
- LCU will be honoring seven players who are playing their final season with the team before the game on Saturday, starting the Senior Day ceremony at 12:40 p.m.

SENIOR DAY
The Lady Chaps will recognize seven players prior to the start of Saturday's game for their annual Senior Day festivities. The group being honored includes
Kara Murray,
Casey Storer,
Claire Jacobson,
Kaslee Roskelley,
Maya Quinones,
Emma Wright and
Mia Chambliss. Several of the players may be granted a fifth year due to new NCAA legislation and return for the 2027 season, but the group wanted to be honored with the class they entered with. Furthermore, Chambliss is not actually graduating, but entering nursing school and is finishing her last season with the team.

THE DEFENSE DOESN'T REST
Lubbock Christian notched their fourth shutout of the season on Wednesday, blanking UT Permian Basin 1-0. They are one away from matching their 2025 total of five shutouts with seven games left on the schedule. LCU has a goals against average of just 1.00 this season, which is the seventh-best mark in the LSC. Lady Chap opponents are averaging just 12.5 shots per game and have put 49.6 percent of those shots on goal. Freshman
Araceli Patterson has anchored the back line, leading the team with 899 minutes of play in her inaugural collegiate campaign.

ALL THE WRIGHT PLACES
LCU goalkeeper
Emma Wright did her part to secure the shutout, making another five saves to bring her season total to 50, which is the fifth-most in the conference. Her .833 saver percentage also ranks fifth, but is best among league keepers with at least 50 saves. In 10 games, Wright has faced 124 shots and allowed just 10 goals for a goals against average of 1.00. Wright surpassed the 100-save mark for her LCU career earlier this season and is now at 148 as a Lady Chap. She has a career save percentage of .809 and her goals against average is 1.01 in 37 games played. She is 15-12-7 in her collegiate career.

STRONG SEPTEMBER
The Lady Chaps finished the month of September with a flourish, beating UT Permian Basin to finish the month 5-1-3 overall. The other four wins came against Western Colorado, CSU-Pueblo, Oklahoma Christian and Angelo State. In the month, LCU averaged 1.89 goals per game, including an eight-goal outburst against WCU. They out-scored their opponents 17-8 overall, posting a goals against average of .089 for the month.
Logan Holloway led the offense for the month, scoring three goals.

FIRST THINGS FIRST
Lubbock Christian returned to their winning ways on Wednesday when they scored the first (and only) goal in the game against the Falcons. LCU is now 5-0-0 on the season in games in which they score first, including 3-0-0 in games where they lead at halftime. Conversely, they are 1-2-2 in games where their opponent scores first. Their one comeback win this season came at Oklahoma Christian, when the allowed a goal in the sixth minute but came back to win 2-1.

OFFENSIVE OUTPUT
With a single goal against the Falcons, they Lady Chaps are now averaging 1.909 goals per game this season, which is the sixth-best mark in the LSC. LCU is averaging 13.4 shots per game through the first 11 contests, putting 49.7 percent of those on goal. LCU's 17 assists are tied for the fourth-most in the league.
Logan Holloway leads the team in goals and points with four and nine, respectively. Nine other Lady Chaps have found the back of the net this season, including seven with multiple goals.

SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
- Eastern New Mexico's lone win so far this year came against Western Colorado, 2-1 in the second game of the season.
- The Greyhounds have been shut out in three straight games and seven times overall this season. They have not scored in their last 301 minutes and five seconds of game time
- Aja Gonzales has played every minute in goal for ENMU so far this year, making 74 saves with a .673 save percentage on 174 shots faced
- Head coach Nona Borden is in her second season as the head coach of the Greyhounds after taking over on an interim basis in October of 2024
