- It was a clean sweep of the Heartland Conference weekly volleyball honors for Lubbock Christian University, as
Kelsie French (Defensive Player of the Week),
Bradi Marshall (Setter of the Week) and
Avery Moore (Offensive Player of the Week) were recognized for their performances last week.
French was a big contributor to LCU's success with 78 digs in three matches for a pace of 7.09 digs per set. She had a double-double Tuesday over Texas Permian Basin, in which she posted 59 assists and 14 digs. Her 59 assists was a season/career high for the freshman setter. It was the second time she had reached at least 50 assists and it was the highest single-match total since Erin Fisher had 63 on Oct. 16, 2014 against Newman. She followed with 43 assists in a three-set win at UAFS, which was LCU's highest in a three-set match since
Mallory Powell recorded 43 on Nov. 3, 2016. Marshall also provided 26 digs (2.89 per set) and four kills on the week (on a .375 attack percentage). The weekly honor is Marshall's third of the season.

Against UTPB, she had her second highest kill total of the season with 15, and a mark of 17.5 points, which matched a career high for a third time. - There were statistical adjustments made to LCU's match with Newman Saturday. After a review of video, the statistical changes led to LCU's attack percentage adjusted to .360. Although it was not as high as the originally recorded mark of .411, the mark of .360 was the highest since a mark of .395 on Oct. 29, 2016 against Texas A&M International.
Jaiden Kennedy's mark of .700 in the match went unchanged and it is the highest individual mark (at least 20 attempts) since Elissa Loynes had a mark of .708 on Oct. 31, 2009 (vs. Mid-America Christian).
