Lubbock Christian University plays their first Lone Star Conference non-divisional games this weekend, as they head east to face University of Texas Tyler Friday (6 p.m.) and No.21 Texas A&M – Commerce Saturday (2 p.m.) to complete a three-match week. LCU looks to build off a 3-2 non-conference win Tuesday at home over Texas A&M – Kingsville. LSC standings are based on division contests, but non-division conference games are important for RPI rankings, regional ranking formulas and potential tiebreakers for conference championship seedings.

- The Lady Chaps and UT Tyler have never met. The Patriots are in their first season at the Division II level after making the move from NCAA Division III membership.
- UTT was preseason picked 14th in the Lone Star Conference. They went 24-2 last season in the ASC, with a 14-1 mark in conference play.
- The Patriots are 6-6 this season (1-3 in conference matches and 1-1 in non-divisional conference matches), with 1-1 record in home matches. They have dropped their last three contests and are coming off a 3-1 loss Saturday at Midwestern State.
- UTT's best team statistical ranking in the conference is ranking fourth in serving aces, with a rate of 1.6 aces per set.
- Taylor Stoops, a UAFS transfer, leads the Patriots and ranks sixth in the conference in assists with 6.1 per set.

- The Lady Chaps head into the contest with an 8-6 record, looking to improve on a 1-3 road record. LCU has dropped their last two road matches. The Lady Chaps have gone five sets in each of their last two matches and they are coming off a 3-2 win over Texas A&M - Kingsville

th nationally. Their total attacks mark of 2,165 attack attempts ranks second in the conference (21
st nationally).
Hannah Thomas has received much of the effort, totaling 557 attacks (leads the conference) and averaging 9.8 attacks per set (ranks third in the conference). She ranks eighth in the LSC in kills (154).
- Lubbock Christian has served up 79 aces in their 14 matches this season (third in the LSC).
Maddie DeGuire leads the team in aces with 21, which ranks third in the conference and 64
th nationally. She ranks seventh in the conference with a pace of 0.37 per set.
Bradi Marshall ranks fourth in the conference with 19 aces and
Hannah Thomas is tied for seventh with 17. Thomas posted five Tuesday in LCU's win over TAMUK.
- Marshall ranks second in the LSC in assists per set with a rate of 9.7, ranking 53
rd nationally. She leads the LSC in total assists with 556 (10
th nationally). She is coming off a career-high five kills Tuesday against TAMUK.

Avery Moore has been solid for the Lady Chaps since conference play began and has 39 kills over the two prior conference matches. She leads LCU with 75 kills in conference contests, with a pace of 3.6 per set. The right-side hitter has a .320 attack percentage in those contests. Moore ranks second in the LSC in conference attacks with 181 and she ranks third in kills in LSC play (75).

Maddie DeGuire ranks second in the conference in total digs (265) and is fourth in digs per set (4.7). Her mark of 105 digs in conference play is third in the LSC (along with 5.0 per set in conference).

Morgan Schwarz has shown a mix of offense and defense in conference play, averaging 1.71 kills per set on a .289 attack percentage and 0.8 blocks per set (16.0 blocks in conference play). She is tied for sixth in the LSC with 49.0 blocks overall this season.
- LCU was 34.0 blocks in their combined prior two games. They posted a program single-match high 18.0 Saturday against UTPB and followed with 16.0 against TAMUK Tuesday. LCU is seventh in the LSC in blocks (109) and second in conference play with 42.0 blocks this season.
