KINGSVILLE, Texas (October 25, 2025) – Riding a 14-match win streak and unbeaten in conference play, Lubbock Christian University continues its road tear Saturday with a 2 p.m. Lone Star Conference showdown at Texas A&M–Kingsville inside Steinke Physical Education Center. The matchup marks the fourth stop on a five-match road swing for the Lady Chaps, who have won eight straight away from home and enter at 10–0 in league play—their highest conference win total since a 14-win campaign in 2021.

» Lubbock Christian University volleyball (18-4, 10-0 LSC) enters Saturday's play riding a 14-match win streak, its longest since a 16-match tear in 2008 (actively the fifth-longest streak in NCAA Div. II). The Lady Chaps have opened Lone Star Conference play 10-0 for their best in their NCAA era and the best since they opened Sooner Athletic Conference play 12-0 in 2009. They improved their road record to 8-1 Friday with a 3-1 win over Texas A&M International (in Laredo, Texas) in the first-ever meeting between the two programs. LCU has won eight straight on the road. LCU is the only remaining unbeaten team in conference play (in the LSC).
» LCU continues to set the offensive standard in the Lone Star Conference, leading the league in both kills per set (14.01) and assists per set (13.33)—ranking No. 19 and No. 13 nationally, respectively. The Lady Chaps also rank 2nd in the LSC and 10th nationally in digs per set (18.7) and are one of the nation's most efficient teams with a .230 attack percentage (5th LSC, 62nd nationally).
» Statistically dominant across the board, LCU leads the LSC in total kills (1,151), assists (1,094), digs (1,531), and total attacks (3,189)—each ranking top 15 nationally. The Lady Chaps also sit among the top 50 nationally in opponent hitting percentage (.151) and top 70 in total blocks (155.5).

Camdyn Sears has delivered one of the most remarkable debut seasons in program history. She leads the LSC and ranks No. 11 nationally in total assists (832), while standing No. 22 nationally (2nd LSC) in assists per set (10.4). Her 62-assist, 11-dig performance at UT Dallas tied the program record for a four-set match, matched the highest four-set total in NCAA Division II this season, and set a UTD opponent record. She owns 15 double-doubles (six straight) and has guided LCU to the No. 1 assist and kill rate in the LSC.

Lily Bickley continues to anchor the front line and rank among the LSC's elite. She sits tied for 5th in the LSC (No. 103 nationally) in total kills (238) and 8th in total blocks (63) while posting a .332 hitting percentage (5th LSC, 83rd nationally). Bickley averages 2.94 kills per set and 3.49 points per set (12th LSC), with 14 double-figure kill matches this season. She recently earned LSC Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 21) following a .410 hitting week with 28 kills and 10 blocks.

Abby Dominguez anchors one of the nation's most efficient back-row defenses. She ranks 3rd in the LSC and 42nd nationally in digs per set (4.93) and 2nd in the LSC (No. 19 nationally) with 404 total digs. Dominguez has produced eight 20+ dig matches this season and leads a defense that ranks among the top 10 nationally in digs per set.

Emilee Sikora continues to shine as a reliable scorer on the wing, ranking tied for 5th in the LSC (No. 103 nationally) in total kills (238) and 12th in kills per set (3.17). She's hit double figures 12 times this year (eight of her last nine matches) while hitting .221 overall and adding 31 blocks.

Bryleigh Schweer provides balance and toughness at the net, ranking 6th in the LSC in hitting percentage (.318) and 7th in total blocks (68). She's averaging 2.08 kills and 0.94 blocks per set, with a career-best 19-point performance (15 kills, six blocks, ace) at UT Dallas that earned her a share of the team lead in points in the match.
» Defensive Consistency: The Lady Chaps have out-dug opponents in 18 of 22 matches and are 18–0 this season when winning the dig battle. Opponents are hitting just .151 against LCU, ranking 4th-best in the conference.

- The Lady Chaps and Javelinas first squared off in 1979 and have met 12 times all-time (series tied 6-6). The first five meetings were neutral site meetings, and the last six meetings have been on-campus meetings (LCU won the prior meeting 3-1 in Lubbock on Oct. 11, 2024). LCU is 0-2 all-time in Kingsville against TAMUK, falling in sweeps in their prior two visits (prior visit resulted in a 3-0 TAMUK win on Oct. 14, 2022).
- Texas A&M–Kingsville (14–6, 6–4 LSC) has put together a strong 2025 campaign, sitting in the upper half of the Lone Star Conference standings. The Javelinas have been dominant at home (9–2) and enter Saturday's matchup following a 3-1 home win over Midwestern State Friday. Despite a recent stretch of mixed results, TAMUK owns notable league victories over West Texas A&M and Texas Woman's, showcasing their ability to challenge top-tier opponents. The Javelinas currently stand tied for sixth in the LSC.
- TAMUK features one of the Lone Star Conference's most balanced offensive lineups, averaging 13.27 kills per set while hitting an efficient .228 as a team. Senior right-side hitter Rylan Pollard anchors the attack with 239 kills (3.06 per set) and a .259 hitting percentage, while Natalee Rush continues her dominance in the middle, boasting a .473 hitting percentage.
- The Javelina offense is fueled by veteran setters Elisa Carli and Rylan Pollard, who combine for more than 800 assists this season. Carli, who moved into third place all-time in program history with 128 career service aces, and averages 5.44 assists per set. Behind the service line, TAMUK is one of the league's toughest serving teams, totaling 146 aces on the season (1.87 per set) led by Carli (31), Tayae-Renae Garcia (26), and Monique Gonzalez (19).
- Defensively, the Javelinas are anchored by libero Monique Gonzalez, who averages 3.38 digs per set and posted a season-high 23 digs in Friday's four-set win over Midwestern State. TAMUK out-dug the Mustangs by 16 in that victory, showcasing their ability to control long rallies and transition effectively. The Javelinas' home court has been a major advantage—they are 9–2 in Kingsville this season and have won eight of their last nine inside the Steinke PE Center heading into Saturday's showdown with LCU.
