» Lubbock Christian University volleyball (22–5, 14–1 LSC) had its 15-match win streak snapped Oct. 28 in a five-set battle at No. 14 West Texas A&M, marking its first Lone Star Conference loss of the season (The streak was LCU's longest since 2008 and ranked fifth-longest active in NCAA Division II entering the match). They bounced back in dramatic fashion with a 3-2 win over Texas Woman's behind 125 digs (tied as the second-most for LCU in the current rally scoring format and is the highest total in the LSC this season) and it has sparked a three-match win streak heading into Saturday's contest. Friday's 3-0 win over UT Permian Basin marked LCU's ninth straight home win and bumped their record to 10-2 at home his season. LCU, who have already clinched a Lone Star Conference Championships (tournament) berth, have 22 regular season wins for the first time since a 24-win 2012 season. A 15
th conference win would be their highest single-season conference win total since 2007.
» Lubbock Christian continues to lead the offensive charge in the Lone Star Conference, pacing the league in both kills per set (14.0) and assists per set (13.3) — marks that rank No. 18 and No. 12 nationally, respectively. The Lady Chaps also sit third in the LSC and 11th nationally in digs per set (19.0) while maintaining one of the nation's most balanced attacks with a .220 hitting percentage (5th LSC, 74th nationally).
» Statistically dominant across every phase, LCU ranks No. 1 in the nation in both total kills (1,437) and total assists (1,366), while placing No. 2 nationally in total digs (1,962) and No. 2 in total attacks (4,098). The Lady Chaps also stand 4th in the LSC and 55th nationally in opponent hitting percentage (.153) and 4th in the LSC, 35th nationally in total blocks (195.5).

Camdyn Sears continues to produce one of the top debut campaigns in Division II volleyball. The Midland native leads the Lone Star Conference in assists per set (10.42, No. 21 nationally) and ranks No. 3 nationally in total assists (1,052) after surpassing 1,000 on the season Saturday vs. Dallas Baptist. Sears owns 18 double-doubles and has directed an offense that tops the LSC in both kills and assists per set. Her 62-assist effort at UT Dallas is tied for the third-highest for a four-set total in Division II this season.

Lily Bickley remains one of the league's most efficient and productive front-line forces. She ranks 5th in the LSC (70th nationally) in hitting percentage (.338) and 7th in total blocks (79) while averaging 3.00 kills (16th LSC) and 3.54 points per set (13th LSC). Bickley has logged 19 double-digit kill performances this season and is coming off her 58th career 10+ kill match. She earned LSC Offensive Player of the Week honors (Oct. 21) after hitting .410 with 28 kills and 10 blocks in two wins.

Emilee Sikora has emerged as one of the top young hitters in the region, ranking 8th in the LSC in kills per set (3.21) and 10th in points per set (3.51) while totaling 308 kills (No. 3 in LSC, 45th nationally). Sikora has recorded 16 double-figure kill matches and double-digit kills in 12 of her last 15 matches. She's also adding a defensive spark with 40 blocks on the season, including a career-high four vs. Dallas Baptist

Abby Dominguez anchors one of the nation's top defensive units, ranking No. 3 in the LSC and No. 45 nationally with 4.84 digs per set, and No. 2 in the conference (14th nationally) in total digs (499). She has posted 11 matches with 20+ digs this season, including a season-high 34, and leads an LCU defense that ranks No. 3 nationally in total digs and No. 11 in digs per set.

Bryleigh Schweer continues to provide a strong net presence, ranking 6th in the LSC in total blocks (89) and 6th in blocks per set (0.96) while hitting .289 (8th LSC). She's averaging 2.04 kills and 0.96 blocks per set, highlighted by a career-best 19-point outing (15 kills, six blocks, ace) at UT Dallas.
» Outside hitter
Payton Murray is heating up late in the season, producing double-digit kills in consecutive matches last weekend for the first time since September, including a season-high 15 kills vs. DBU. The senior has seven double-figure kill matches this season and 34 in her career, giving LCU a consistent secondary scoring option alongside Sikora and Bickley.

LOOKING AT ASU
- LCU and Angelo State are meeting for the 36
th time all-time. ASU won the prior meeting 3-0 in San Angelo, Texas on Oct. 26, 2024. ASU, who had a nine-match win streak from 1980, has won the prior nine meetings and leads the all-time series 26-9. Six of the last seven meetings have been played in San Angelo. LCU is 2-7 all-time against ASU in Lubbock, with their previous win coming on Oct. 22, 2019, as ASU was nationally ranked No.15.
- Angelo State (18–7, 12–2 LSC) enters the weekend riding a four-match win streak and standing tied for second in the Lone Star Conference standings. The Rambelles have been dominant at home with an 11–0 mark inside the Junell Center but are 7–7 combined away from San Angelo (6–4 road, 1–3 neutral). After opening the year with a perfect 4–0 start, ASU weathered a challenging midseason stretch before regaining momentum behind recent sweeps of Eastern New Mexico and Western New Mexico and a 3–1 home win over nationally ranked West Texas A&M. ASU swept Midwestern State 3-0 Friday night in Wichita Falls, Texas.
- Angelo State enters Saturday on a five-match win streak , which was sparked by a sweep of Eastern New Mexico and handing No. 14 West Texas A&M its first loss in 12 matches. The Belles hit a blistering .371 in the sweep of ENMU and followed with a statement 3–1 victory over WT, led by 21 kills from Madi Parrish and a career-high 20 from Demi Carter.
- The Belles boast one of the Lone Star Conference's most efficient offenses, ranking second in the league and 39th nationally with a .242 hitting percentage. They also sit top-five in the LSC in both kills per set (13.6) and assists per set (12.8), with setters Madison Scrivner and Gabi Ashcraft directing a balanced offense featuring multiple double-digit hitters.
- Junior outside hitter Madi Parrish, the LSC's sixth-ranked scorer at 3.47 kills and 4.04 points per set, recently surpassed 1,000 career kills—becoming the 16th player in program history to reach the milestone. She also ranks among the league's top 10 in service aces (0.39 per set, 34 total) and has 305 kills on the season.
