Garrett is LCU's all-time leader in assists with 520. The Abilene, Texas native also ranks fifth all-time in career steals (164) and sixth in free-throw attempts (371) in program history. He also racked up 14 assists in a game, which is the second most for a program single-game mark. The former Abilene Cooper High School product was a two-time All-Conference selection and was an All-SAC Tournament Team member in 2001, when LCU captured its only postseason tournament title at the Sooner Athletic Tournament, which was hosted in the newly opened Rip Griffin Center. The 2000-2001 squad also had LCU's longest venture into the NAIA National Tournament with an Elite Eight finish.
He currently resides in the Austin area.
