The Lubbock, Texas native appeared in 530 sets over 149 career matches and averaged 5.7 digs per set.

Yonke was a Lubbock Avalanche Journal All-City Libero and Defensive Player of the Year at Coronado High School before arriving at LCU. In 2007, her first full season at the libero position, she set the program's single season digs mark with 947 and claimed the program's first NAIA National Libero of the Week accolade.

She excelled on the court and in the classroom, becoming the program's only three-time Sooner Athletic Conference Libero of the Year and three-time NAIA Scholar Athlete. Yonke ranked in the top-15 nationally in digs per set 2006-2009, ranking seventh in 2008 and 2009. LCU claimed three Sooner Athletic Conference titles, while making four NAIA Regional Tournaments and two NAIA National Tournaments, while she was a member of the Lady Chaps. Included in the mix was LCU's Elite Eight appearance in 2008.
